Future Needs joins the 4th plenary meeting of SmartVitiNet in Greece
Future Needs joined SmartVitiNet partners for the fourth plenary meeting held on May 20-21 in Greece. The two-day event was a great opportunity to discuss the project’s progress and plan for the second half.
The first day, organised by the Agroecology Lab, took place in Corinth, while the Agricultural University of Athens hosted the second day.
Egle Joneliunaite and Thanos Arvanitidis from the Future Needs team updated all project partners on dissemination and communication activities, reporting on the progress made so far. It was noted that SmartVitiNet has been promoted at various industry events among wine and agriculture professionals. Additionally, stakeholders have been kept informed through social media, regular newsletters, and publications. During the meeting, Future Needs proposed the next steps to effectively achieve the project’s dissemination and communication goals and agreed on the action steps with the partners to accomplish this.
SmartVitiNet is an innovative project aiming to scale up, pilot, and market a holistic phytosanitary and plant protection system using unmanned aerial vehicles, new observational platforms, and ready-to-use sensors. We at Future Needs are happy to be part of this project and continue contributing to its success.
