Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation Manager (Open)
Dissemination activities include managing the project website, promoting research results on appropriate social media channels by translating science in popular language, managing press release submissions in news outlets and scientific magazines, coordinating and organizing workshops for the project partners, and organizing engagement activities with various stakeholders and the general public. The Dissemination Manager is also responsible for summarizing all dissemination and communication activities in an annual report to record and assess the progress in the promotion of the project and its results.

Researcher in Sustainable Aviation Business Models (Open)
The Researcher will be responsible for leading teams of fellow researchers working in EU research projects in the fields of Sustainable Aviation, Air Transport, U-space, Urban Air Mobility, UAV, drone technology. Responsibilities include the entire research life cycle from defining the economic research methodology to defining the workplan, conducting business research, applying statistical methods first-hand and publishing the results in scientific journals. The position is largely focused on development of future aviation products and services and business model development for the emerging aviation markets.
Researcher in Transport or Regional/Spatial Economics (Open)
The Lead Research Economist will be responsible for leading a team of researchers working in EU research projects, defining the economic research methodology for our work in EU research projects, while also conducting economic research and applying statistical methods first-hand. This position will lead and direct analyses for research studies relating to spatial economics with applications in aviation policy and health applications. The Researcher will apply skills in research design and statistical methods to offer solutions to complex policy issues for government and non-government clients.

A cover letter
We expect in your cover letter to lay out what you can bring to the table. We are also interested in hearing what your ideal career path looks like. This means where you see yourself in ten years, and how you envision your journey there.
If your background does not directly link to the advertised position, we expect you to provide the reasons behind your interest in it. Also, we will appreciate applicants who write clearly and openly about the reasons they would like to join.
A boilerplate cover letter will probably not do your application any harm. At the very least, you show you can string together a few paragraphs without incident but it won’t help much either. We should add that someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about working with us has a clear advantage.
Supporting material
This could be papers or reports you have written, presentations you have delivered, blog posts or other forms of media and think pieces such as videos and podcasts. We are looking for evidence that you can carry out insightful analysis and communicate clearly in English.
The presentation
We look beyond the superficial, but presentation also matters. A well-presented application including a CV, cover letter, and supporting material shows effort, good taste, and an ability to communicate effectively. Typos and formatting inconsistencies can really stick out and make it seem like you applied without paying enough attention, which is not a good look. Overt formality is a negative, so keep it simple instead.
One final thing
Your application will be reviewed by people who respect the time you put into preparing it. We do not use automated software to sift applications, and we always respond to every candidate as soon as our assessment has been completed.
