Catching up with HiDALGO2 in the 3rd plenary meeting
At the beginning of the summer, the Future Needs team, namely Kyriaki Daskaloudi, George Lyssas and Theodora Papanikolaou, participated in the plenary meeting of HiDALGO2, with all partners, to discuss the progress and next steps of the project. HLRS hosted the meeting in Stuttgart, Germany on the 3rd and 4th of June. It consisted of detailed and interesting presentations of the partners’ work activities and next steps.
On the first day of the meeting, the project coordinator welcomed the partners and gave an overview of the project and its overall status. This was followed by presentations on quality management and a discussion on the future development strategy of the project. There were also many interesting discussions about the use cases of the project and their development.
The second day started with an interesting and engaging hands-on session on visualisation, facilitated by Zoltán Horváth and Mátyas Constans, followed by presentations of the remaining work packages, and concluded with the Advisory Board meeting.
The Future Needs team as a work package leader, presented an analytical plan of the Communication and Dissemination activities regarding the next months of the project. HiDALGO2 is a very successful project in terms of Dissemination because of the outreach of the results and the importance of the project. It is a very popular Center of Excellence among EuroHPC and we are very happy, as the Future Needs team managed to reach so many people with the project’s message.
We would like to thank our partners for hosting us in Stuttgart, the project coordinator Marcin Lawenda and the people involved in organising this plenary, as their contribution and organisation were exceptional.
