From 9 to 13 June 2025, Rzeszów, Poland, became the meeting point for 26 changemakers committed to tackling pay inequality across Europe. Organised as part of the EqPay4all project, this Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) brought together partners from Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Latvia and Germany. Future Needs actively contributed to the initiative, with Innovation Project Manager Lee Ingleton representing the organisation on site.
Following a successful project partner meeting in Riga last month, Lee travelled to Poland to help facilitate the EqPay4all training activities. As part of her involvement, she delivered a workshop titled ‘Real Talk’ – designed to summarise key learnings, gather meaningful feedback on the LTTA experience, and support the completion of the project’s pilot questionnaire.
The LTTA, held across Rzeszów’s vibrant university district, was designed to equip participants with the digital campaigning skills needed to advocate for equal pay for everyone. Over five energetic and collaborative days, the cohort engaged in hands-on workshops, team-based challenges and strategic discussions that culminated in the creation of a fully-fledged social media campaign.
Building Purpose and Strategy
The week began by setting strong foundations. Participants worked together to co-create a shared purpose statement, outlining the values and goals uniting this international collective. This collaborative approach ensured everyone’s voices were heard and helped shape a direction rooted in inclusivity and solidarity.
The following days featured classes hosted by the University of Rzeszów. The focus was on the power of persuasive language and the critical role of intersectional imagery in communication. Participants explored how to frame digital messages that are not only powerful but also mindful and inclusive.
Creating Impactful Campaigns
Midweek, the energy shifted to creative production. Cross-country teams teamed up for fast-paced campaign sprints—designing posters, drafting inclusive slogans, and mapping out hashtag strategies. The room buzzed with creativity, debate, and laughter as ideas were translated into a cohesive, inclusive campaign pack.
By the final day, the teams had shaped a ready-to-launch coherent digital campaign with many compelling visuals tailored for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Slogans like “Same Skills, Same Pay, Stop Injustice Today” anchored the messaging, while a suite of hashtags – including #EqPay4all, #EqualPayEveryDay, and #FairWagesNow – ensured consistency across platforms.
In the following days we got down to business collaborating on the design of the campaign.
What Comes Next
The campaign will officially launch on July 5th and run until July 31st. The collaborative energy and creative momentum from this training have laid a strong foundation, and the materials produced during the LTTA will continue to evolve through feedback and further testing as partners refine strategies to ensure inclusive impact across different contexts.
