- Introduction
Welcome to the Privacy Policy of the BeWEEN Mobile Game (Game, app). The Game is the third project result (PR3) of BeWEEN – “Be Well and Green when Digital” (https://www.beween.eu/) an Erasmus+ project (KA220-SCH-8F986D52). The purpose of the Game is to educate players on a sustainable way of using digital devices and help them build competences “4.3 Protecting Health and well-being” and “4.4 Protecting the Environment” up to proficiency level 6 as they are described in the EU Digital Competence Framework (DigComp). Future Needs Management Consulting Ltd. is the developer of the app (we, us, or our, Future Needs, FN). We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Game.
If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the service. We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. If we make a material change to this Privacy Policy.
- Information We Collect
2.1. Information You Provide
When you download and use our Game, we collect information you provide directly, specifically a username of your choice. This username is provided by you and it can be your actual first name or nickname. You are in control of the username and you can choose one that cannot be connected with you actually and we consider it as “non-personal data” meaning that the information you provide does not directly identify you. We do not ask you for any other data.
2.2. Automatically Collected Information
We do not collect any personal information automatically when you use our Game.
- How We Use Your Information
We use your provide username only to display it with your in-game score to the leaderboard, hence the leaderboard entry will say anything you input as username. If you reset the app and change your username the leaderboard entry will update.
- Disclosure of Your Information
We share your username and score via the app leaderboard only with other users of the app.
- Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure.
- Your Choices
You can control certain aspects of the information we collect and how it is used. You may contact us to delete your leaderboard entry.
- In-app survey
You can fill an optional in-app survey to help us improve our educational app. This is completely optional and anonymous.
- Children’s Privacy
Our Game is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
- Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy within the Game or on our website. Please check back from time to time to ensure that you are aware of these changes. Your continued use of the Service will signify your acceptance of these changes.
