How can we help young people recognise misleading health information and navigate online content more safely?
On 6 October 2026, we invite teachers, youth workers and educators to join us in Nicosia, Cyprus for a practical afternoon exploring health literacy, disinformation and the digital skills young people need to navigate health-related content online.
Organised by Future Needs and the Association for Historical Dialogue and Research (AHDR) as part of the Erasmus+ HealthLit project, the Training Seminar will combine presentations, interactive sessions and group activities, with a strong focus on approaches that can be applied in real educational settings.
During the seminar, we will explore:
– Disinformation and health literacy and how they affect young people
– Digital skills and tools for safer navigation of health information for teachers and students
– Strategies for integrating health literacy into education courses and activities
– Practical ways to communicate health topics on social media
The seminar is open to teachers, youth workers and educators, and all participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
