Led proposal writing, developing a clear narrative and structuring the application around the call’s evaluation criteria.
IAM Competence Centre (IAM-CC) addresses one of the most critical and often overlooked aspects of Innovative Air Mobility (IAM): societal readiness for adoption. Rather than focusing solely on technological feasibility, the project explores the real-world challenges IAM can help solve, society’s readiness to embrace it, and how it can be deployed fairly and inclusively.
Future Needs led IAM-CC’s proposal writing and serves as the project’s main Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) research partner. We develop methodologies and tools to assess and advance societal readiness, helping cities integrate Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) fairly. We also lead the development of the IAM Competence Centre, as well as dissemination and exploitation activities.

Future Needs led the development of the IAM-CC proposal, bringing a forward-looking vision and strong Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) expertise to the emerging field of societal readiness. Anticipating the shift from technological acceptance to societal readiness, the proposal achieved the highest possible evaluation score.
Future Needs developed and presented the IAM-CC visual identity at the kick-off meeting in Athens, already in M1, ensuring a strong and consistent brand presence from the project’s very first month.
