The last project meeting

The final project meeting of the Erasmus+ project GreenPosts was held in Larnaca, Cyprus, from October 23rd to 24th, allowing the project partners to evaluate the past two-year period and the project’s implementation. During the last project meeting, the participants had the opportunity to give their views on the results of the work and the relations and cooperation between the partners over the past two years. Although all project results have been achieved, the project team still needs to take some actions for the project closing.

Project Outcomes

The project produced the following Project Results (PR) through its lifetime:

The GreenPosts Assessment Tool (PR1), a tool that allows post offices to evaluate their organisation in terms of green practices.

“Implementing European Green Deal in Posts” Course (PR2), a series of courses aiming to help post offices and their employees to adopt new environmental policies and behaviours.

Peer to Peer success stories videos (PR3), a series of videos created by the partner organisations, showcasing best practices applied to their everyday life.

Virtual Think Tank (PR4), an interactive platform, hosting the aforementioned results, but also a place for discussion and knowledge sharing.

In addition to the achieved results, a workshop for “green ambassadors”, a Learning Training Teaching (LTT) Activity held from January 30 to February 1, 2023, in Zagreb, Croatia, where the course curriculum was discussed, tasks were solved in groups, self-testing of knowledge was carried out, and familiarisation with the functions of Virtual Think Tank and designed a draft of the future Guide for teachers who will convey the message and results of the GreenPosts project to their colleagues, were evaluated.

During the project’s progress, 3 project meetings were held. Due to the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the first one was held online, while the second was held in July 2022 in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the third in January 2023 in Athens, Greece.

Our role

As Future Needs, we are really happy to be part of the project. We had the opportunity to expand our knowledge and meet new partners! Our role in the project was to contribute to each activity and lead the development of the Virtual Think Tank of the project. We are really proud of the outcomes.
