EqPay4all: Empowering Women in the Workplace
On the 20th and 21st of February, the EqPay4all kick-off meeting took place online, where all the partners attended for an extended discussion about our project’s first steps and the action that is going to be taken in the project’s runtime.
At the very beginning of the meeting, there was a session with the partners introducing the people who are involved in the project directly and providing the contacts of key individuals.
Each work package leader shared a presentation describing the first steps that need to be taken for the project and also setting a timeline for the tasks of each work package.
Through these presentations, we were acquainted with the aim of the project’s results and the significance of creating awareness to sensitise women as well as social workers, youth and women’s associations, educational associations and stakeholders.
The activities of this project include a webinar series, a platform for exchange of information and experience and also a campaign for raising awareness of the gender pay gap in the labour market.
Our role
In this project, as Future Needs team we play a pivotal role in the development and refinement of the Virtual Think Tank (VTT) platform within this project. This platform will include an online course consisting of 4 Modules with Assessment Questions and the participants that complete this course will be awarded a certificate. Also, a forum for interaction with mentors will be included. The Virtual Think Tank platform is going to disseminate the projects’ results to the public and empower young women to create a more equal workplace.
After the end of this online meeting we also decided on a physical meeting in April so that all the partners can attend in person and be able to discuss our progress.
