ENTRUST 3rd plenary meeting takes place in Lisbon, Portugal
The Future Needs team travelled to Lisbon on May 14-15 for the 3rd Plenary Meeting of the ENTRUST project.
During the two-day meeting, the agenda was packed with discussions on technical project updates, evaluations of use cases, and progress in project implementation. Other topics included the development of the ENTRUST blockchain infrastructure, focusing on attribute-based access control (ABAC), attribute-based encryption (ABE), and defining smart contracts.
Egle Joneliunaite and Thanos Arvanitidis from Future Needs provided an update on their activities related to Dissemination, Standardisation, Exploitation & Impact Creation within the project. They highlighted the achievements to date and outlined plans for the coming months.
The ENTRUST project addresses the challenge of cybersecurity in connected medical devices (CMDs) while ensuring their continued usability. Its trust management framework oversees CMD lifecycle stages, from secure design-time trust models and risk assessments to lifecycle procedures and real-time conformity certificates using innovative runtime attestation methods and distributed ledger technologies.
At Future Needs, we are glad to collaborate with other reputable organisations on this project and ensure effective communication of ENTRUST among stakeholder groups.
